Aeris Walker

Aeris Walker is an award winning author. A collection of her short stories – Song of the Forest is now available where all good books are sold, including Bookshop.org, Barnes & Noble, and of course Amazon.

Aeris Walker hasn’t taught at Harvard or written for The New York Times or worked as an editor for 20 years; she is a stay-at-home mother trying to finish her degree while chasing two kids around the house and begging them to put on pants.

A mother who, in her precious spare time, lets her imagination out for some fresh air and writes stories she hopes will resonate with her readers.

Aeris lives in North Carolina with her husband, young children, and a crotchety old dog.


Beth Connor

Beth Connor, a lifelong reader, writer, and creator of worlds. In a past life, she was a dance instructor and choreographer. Now, she has shifted her passion for storytelling into an exciting array of narratives. You’ll find her tales in the form of novels, short stories, poetry, podcasts, and even enchanting yarns spun around a crackling campfire.

She also runs and owns the publishing company Wolf Grove Media

Blue Marble Storytellers hosts the back catalogue of Beth Connor’s Crossroads Cantina podcast episodes.


Deidra Whitt Lovegren

Deidra is an award winning author who has written and published over one hundred short stories and regularly competes in a variety of international writing contests.

Deidra’s novel The Medicine Girl debuted in July 2022. The sequel, The Medicine Woman, was released in August 2023. The final installment, The Medicine Crone, will be released in Winter 2024.  She has published shorter works including 21 Conversationsa collection of dialogue-only stories. 

Over her teaching career, Deidra has taught scores of English classes to students from preschool to college. Currently, she is the humanities instructor at a private school in Central Virginia. 

She is also a co-founder of Blue Marble Storytellers.


Russell Mickler

Russell Mickler writes fantasy and science fiction. His micro/flash work appears in several short story anthologies and magazines. Black Anvil Books is Mickler’s imprint for self-published fantasy and serialized fiction


Robert Burns

Trained as an Architect, Robert Burns is looking forward to his next chapter, both literally and figuratively, as he explores the art and craft of creative writing.
