Guide to the editor

This Topic is a guide to the editor and what the buttons at the top of the editor box do.

Most of the buttons are to format some of your text. Consequently, to get the button to do something useful you need to highlight the text you want to format.

B = Bold (example: This text should be bold)

I = Italics (example: this text should be in italics)

LINK = Insert a link to another page or website (e.g. Blue Marble Storytellers)

B-QUOTE = Block Quote – Text is formatted as a quote

This text is something inside a QUOTE box

DEL = Strike through the text (example: this is deleted, but not removed)

IMG = Insert an Image in your text (I used this to insert the image above)

UL = Bulleted (Unstructured) list – this is used to surround your entire list – see list item below
OL = Numbered (Ordered) List – this is used to surround your entire list – see list item below
LI = List Item – use this for each item in your list

CODE = a block of text with minimal formatting.

CLOSE TAGS = Used to fix issues with your formatting.
